VMC Programmer

About the Role

NovL Solutions Private Limited is recruiting skilled VMC Programmers to serve multiple manufacturing and precision engineering firms based in Bengaluru. The role demands hands-on experience in VMC programming either through manual coding or the use of popular CAD/CAM software.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and troubleshoot VMC machining programs using manual methods or CAD/CAM software.
• Interpret mechanical engineering drawings including dimensions and tolerances accurately.
• Plan and sequence machining operations involving tool selection and optimization of cutting parameters such as speeds and feeds.
• Develop programs covering various machining tasks including milling, drilling, tapping, boring, pocketing, and contour operations.
• Verify programs through trials and implement necessary corrections to ensure precision.
• Collaborate closely with VMC setters, machine operators, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify and resolve any programming-related issues affecting component quality and machining accuracy.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Practical experience in programming VMC machines using at least one of the following: Mastercam (up-to-date versions), SolidCAM, Siemens NX CAM / UG NX, Delcam / PowerMILL, or manual programming using G-code and M-code.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and geometric tolerance specifications.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameter settings.
• Good understanding of machining processes on VMC platforms including program verification and debugging.
• Technical qualification such as ITI, Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Candidates with strong practical programming experience are also invited to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

This opportunity is exclusively for candidates with genuine VMC programming experience. Applicants who only have operator or setter experience without programming expertise are not eligible.

Employment Details
