Job Overview
The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to manufacture precision parts. You will transform engineering blueprints into machine code using CAD/CAM software, ensuring high quality and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and fine-tune CNC programs that guide VMC machines in producing accurate components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and convert them into usable machine instructions through CAD/CAM tools.
- Prepare and configure machines, including tool offset settings and selecting proper cutting parameters.
- Maintain manufacturing productivity while adhering to safety standards throughout machine operations.
