Role Overview

We seek a creative Visual Merchandiser to enhance our brand presence in Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark, working closely with Retail and Marketing. Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising, you will design captivating store layouts, window installations, and product displays following brand guidelines, contributing significantly to customer engagement and sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute region-specific visual merchandising strategies aligned with global brand standards and local preferences.
  • Create engaging window displays, store designs, and product presentations to highlight designer toy collections.
  • Lead training programs for store personnel to ensure consistent visual execution.
  • Support store launches and promotional events with impactful visual setups.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits across multiple countries to maintain visual standards and assist teams.
  • Partner with Retail and Marketing teams to create seasonal displays and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with central merchandising and design teams to adapt global concepts locally.
  • Analyze sales and customer data to optimize visual merchandising effectiveness.
  • Identify and develop scalable merchandising solutions for the regional market.
  • Provide detailed reports and actionable insights on campaigns and market trends to leadership.
  • Assist the merchandising team operationally and creatively with various projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree or vocational certification in visual merchandising, retail design, event setup, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in visual merchandising, preferably with premium lifestyle brands; experience in designer toys, collectibles, or fashion accessories is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Demonstrable portfolio evidencing creative and brand-consistent display design and storytelling.
  • Excellent spatial understanding, attention to detail, and product presentation expertise.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration within multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to independently manage responsibilities across multiple retail locations.
  • Willingness and readiness to engage in frequent travel throughout Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark, including overnight stays.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience with window and set merchandising in fast-paced, global retail environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of local market trends and consumer tastes in designer toys and collectibles.
  • Experience overseeing or supporting a portfolio of multiple retail stores.
  • Understanding of Asian pop culture influences, current designer toy trends, and social media impacts on brand engagement.
