Job description
Role Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser, your main focus will be to create an engaging and attractive in-store environment that inspires customers to shop. You will design inspiring window displays and mannequins and coach sales colleagues to support the implementation of Visual Merchandising standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a visually appealing and sales-enhancing presentation of merchandise by adhering to Visual Merchandising guidelines while incorporating your own creative ideas.
- Design and decorate window displays and mannequins to captivate customers and enhance store appeal.
- Analyze sales figures and key performance indicators using the Merchandise Management System to inform and optimize product presentation and collection alignment.
- Apply centrally developed sales strategies and concepts in-store presentations.
- Boost sales results through innovative and attractive product displays.
- Guide and train colleagues on correctly applying Visual Merchandising standards.
- Initiate profitable actions proactively whenever opportunities arise.
- Provide styling advice and assistance to customers who seek support or have questions about products.
Candidate Profile
You possess a keen eye for style and are passionate about fashion trends, colors, and forms. You have a solid background and relevant practical experience in Visual Merchandising and retail.
- Completed commercial retail training with substantial experience in Visual Merchandising, or a qualification as a Visual Marketing Designer or related creative profession.
- Strong analytical skills allowing you to translate sales data into actionable solutions.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, working closely with Store Management to set priorities and weekly plans.
- Affinity for business processes and proficient in interpreting space data and merchandise management systems.
- Ability to understand customer desires and translate them effectively into wearable visual merchandising concepts.
