Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and seasoned Visual Merchandiser to join our team. This role demands maintaining and advancing our visual presentation standards across stores, setting an example, and mentoring store teams to achieve outstanding in-store displays. Your contributions will be essential in boosting sales and deepening customer connections with the Universal Store brand.

Note: This position involves frequent travel to various store locations in North-West Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

• Exemplify and elevate visual merchandising standards across all stores.
• Create and implement visually compelling displays consistent with fashion trends and brand guidelines.
• Ensure all products are impeccably presented, covering steaming, hard-tagging, shoe labelling, and overall readiness.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient merchandising environment at all times.
• Provide coaching and support to regional store teams to enhance display impact and promotional execution.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles with a proven track record of coaching and influencing staff.
• Strong skills in visual merchandising with a keen eye for styling, trends, and brand representation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with store personnel.
• Ability to motivate, guide, and inspire teams to maintain high visual merchandising standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational ability, and sensitivity to visual cues and overall store presentation.
