About the Role
We are seeking a highly imaginative and self-driven Creative Designer & Video Editor to manage all creative needs for Lokal Jobs. This position involves more than just execution; it requires initiating ideas, brainstorming, and independently steering the creative vision across social media, performance marketing, product communications, and branding campaigns.
The role demands comfort with designing various marketing materials such as banners, brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, as well as producing reels, tutorial videos, promotional content, and product explainers. Although the primary responsibility is Lokal Jobs, flexibility to assist with other Lokal products' creative needs is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete creative process for Lokal Jobs across social media, performance marketing, and product marketing channels.
- Design marketing collateral including banners, brochures, posters, social media posts, carousels, thumbnails, ads, and other creative assets.
- Produce and edit dynamic video content such as reels, tutorials, promotional videos, product explainers, and performance advertisements.
- Proactively generate social media ideas, campaigns, creative concepts, and new content formats without awaiting specific briefs.
- Manage the creative process from initial conception through execution, iteration, and final delivery.
- Develop captivating hooks, visual storytelling elements, motion graphics, transitions, and sound design that attract and maintain audience attention.
- Keep abreast of social media trends, memes, popular culture, video editing styles, and emerging creative formats.
- Leverage creative performance data to continuously enhance graphic and video content quality.
- Collaborate effectively with marketing, product, and content teams while independently driving creative execution.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic or creative design, video editing, social media content creation, or digital marketing creatives.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating both static graphics and video productions.
- Excellent creative thinking, brainstorming ability, and skills in visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with AI-based creative tools for image and video generation, design innovation, ideation, and content creation.
- Capability to utilize AI technology to generate concepts, produce variations, accelerate creative production, and elevate output quality.
- Robust understanding of social media content strategies, performance-based creatives, typography, layout design, visual hierarchy, motion graphics, and sound design.
- High sense of ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to function autonomously.
- Fluency in English and at least one regional or native language, both spoken and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple Lokal products according to business priorities.
- Experience in performance marketing or consumer internet product domains is advantageous.
- Familiarity with analytic and advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and YouTube Analytics is beneficial.
- Strong awareness of Indian popular culture, regional trends, memes, and viral content adds value.
- Experience in establishing AI-assisted creative workflows is a plus.
