Job description
About Zomint
Zomint is developing a premier financial advisory platform for India's mass affluent segment, targeting investors with assets ranging from ₹15 lakh to ₹1 crore. These clients find traditional DIY apps insufficient and private banking options inaccessible. The platform integrates AI-driven research, monitoring, and portfolio analysis alongside human advisors who provide nuanced judgment and behavioral insights at crucial moments, aiming for consistent long-term financial decisions rather than short-term gains. Our trust-based distribution leverages the Bekifaayati community with over 5 million followers engaged in personal finance content, attracting users with genuine intent.
Zomint is focused on building robust infrastructure to foster enduring financial relationships covering investments, insurance, taxation, and financial planning. Operating at an early stage entails true ownership, navigating ambiguity, and the chance to influence foundational systems rapidly and continuously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 100 to 150 client families, serving as their primary contact for all financial inquiries and significant life events.
- Lead onboarding processes by gathering client goals, constraints, and risk profiles, while clearly establishing relationship expectations.
- Organize and conduct scheduled review meetings, collaborating with the investment team to prepare tailored recommendations.
- Initiate timely communications in response to market developments, portfolio-triggered events, or client life changes.
- Resolve client queries comprehensively or coordinate solutions with advisory and operational teams, ensuring closure.
- Monitor and assess relationship health through metrics such as meeting adherence, SIP regularity, client responsiveness, and escalation indicators.
- Promote organic growth opportunities within existing client families by identifying potential needs across insurance, taxation, and estate planning services.
- Provide feedback on client interactions to enhance product offerings, focusing on frequently raised questions, disengagement points, and areas of confusion.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or client-facing roles within fintech.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial client book (approximately 100 clients), handling multiple relationships simultaneously.
- Exemplify a proactive approach by initiating client contact independently rather than reacting to inquiries.
- Comfortable with financial data analysis and adept at explaining complex portfolio scenarios clearly and calmly to clients.
- Solid foundational knowledge of mutual fund categories, basic asset allocation principles, and tax implications to confidently discuss recommendations without constant support.
- Effective and structured communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to documenting all client interactions and commitments.
- Strong sense of ownership, taking accountability for client outcomes personally rather than as a shared responsibility.
