Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Views Editor (Veditor) to join our consulting team in Singapore full-time. This role transcends traditional editing; it requires fluency in algorithms and a performance-driven creative mindset. The Veditor creates and continually optimizes content that resonates powerfully with audiences, focusing on metrics such as views, likes, comments, shares, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce content that effectively engages consumers, measured by strong attention and interaction metrics.
• Act as an algorithm-aware editor specializing in pacing, hooks, structure, and audience retention across social media platforms.
• Lead efforts in performance optimization of content to achieve enhanced results.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos, optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, with a focus beyond post-production to performance.
• Keep abreast of social media algorithms, emerging formats, creator trends, and innovative editing methods to ensure content remains fresh and competitive.
• Contribute creative ideas in team ideation sessions, with emphasis on executing and iterating to improve content performance.
• Collaborate efficiently with various teams under rapid timelines.
• Participate actively in brainstorming, kickoffs, and team meetings, influencing performance-centric strategies.
• Mentor creators, and at times Art Directors and Copywriters, supporting best practices in ideation, execution, and optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in creative content production spanning social, streaming platforms, AR, music, film, or interactive media.
• Proven expertise as a video editor, ideally within advertising or digital media sectors.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, notably Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Exceptional content creation capability with proficiency in both video editing and motion design.
• Solid understanding of social platform best practices and relevant performance metrics.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to take initiative.
• Strong collaboration skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and maintain positive working relationships.
