Job description

About the Company

Heroes of Digital is a performance-driven marketing agency that integrates creative content production with strategic marketing goals. Their Creative Studio develops videos and photographs not merely based on aesthetic criteria but directly tied to social media performance across paid and organic channels.

Role Overview

The Videographer / Editor position operates within the Creative Studio, collaborating closely with Creative Strategy and Design departments to transform data-informed briefs into compelling, conversion-focused content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce video and photographic content from shoot through editing based on strategic directives, focusing on social media performance rather than just visual styling.
  • Consistently deliver varied content formats including Reels, native ads for social platforms, brand videos, and photography monthly without sacrificing quality.
  • Approach content creation with a performance mindset by analyzing past content metrics and applying insights to subsequent edits—evaluating hooks, pacing, and audience engagement.
  • Manage personal work progress and turnaround times transparently using Monday.com, ensuring deadlines are met without external prompting.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategy and Design teams for each brief, proactively suggesting improvements for future projects.
  • Continuously update knowledge on social media trends, innovative tools, and creative techniques to enhance production quality.

Qualifications

  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience in video production featuring both shooting and editing, demonstrated through a professional portfolio.
  • Possession of a diploma or degree in film, media, or a related discipline.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom; familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop is advantageous.
  • Technical capability in photography/videography, including lighting techniques and camera framing.
  • Enthusiasm for understanding performance metrics influencing video effectiveness and willingness to adapt creative outputs based on data and feedback.
  • Self-reliance in task management, early obstacle detection, and strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring only top-quality work is released.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience creating corporate, event, and social media content across diverse sectors.
  • Confidence operating advanced photo and video equipment such as strobes, gimbals, and multi-camera setups.
  • Knowledge and active use of AI-assisted tools to accelerate idea development, editing processes, or asset variations.

Compensation

The position offers remuneration tied to content results and performance, emphasizing effectiveness over social media likes.
