About the Role
The Video Producer is responsible for delivering high-quality and engaging video content tailored for digital and social media platforms. This role places a strong focus on post-production and editing, working closely with the production and editorial teams to transform raw videos into finished stories that align with the organization's editorial standards and creative vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire video editing process from initial raw footage selection to final output, including narrative development, sound mixing, color grading, graphics integration, subtitles, transitions, and mastering.
- Assist in all phases of video production such as concept creation, pre-production planning, and filming, while primarily concentrating on post-production tasks.
- Customize and reformat video content for various social media platforms by creating vertical, square, and horizontal formats applying platform-specific editing styles and techniques that maximize audience engagement.
- Integrate motion graphics, typography treatments, branding materials, music, and other visual assets to enhance video impact and quality.
- Maintain strict quality control ensuring videos meet editorial accuracy, technical standards, brand guidelines, audio-visual quality, and proper formatting/export specifications.
- Manage multiple video edits and deadlines efficiently to support a smooth, organized, and reliable workflow without sacrificing quality.
- Collaborate with department leaders, editorial teams, and stakeholders to ensure videos align with creative direction and editorial goals.
- Establish and maintain structured media management systems including file organization, project handling, footage storage, backups, and archiving for long-term accessibility.
- Oversee the availability, maintenance, and proper functioning of production and post-production equipment.
