Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Video Editor based in Kathmandu to work on-site. The Video Editor will be responsible for compiling, editing, and enhancing video content for diverse platforms, ensuring compliance with brand standards and project goals. Daily responsibilities include reviewing raw footage, selecting significant clips, applying transitions, sound effects, and visual enhancements, plus coordination with creative and marketing departments to deliver engaging videos. Additional duties include optimizing video files for digital distribution, maintaining orderly project documentation, and adhering to deadlines across multiple projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in video production and editing techniques.
• Experience with video color grading to improve visual consistency and quality.
• Skills in creating motion graphics and graphic elements to enhance visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects is advantageous.
• Keen attention to detail, strong storytelling ability, and good visual design sense.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and juggle multiple projects under strict timelines.
• Relevant prior experience in video editing or related creative fields, accompanied by a portfolio of previous work, is desirable.
