Career Critics seeks a skilled and imaginative Video Editor capable of crafting compelling, top-tier video content for digital platforms and social media channels. The ideal candidate should excel in storytelling, display strong visual creativity, and reliably complete assignments on a strict schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video content tailored for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and additional social media outlets.
• Produce captivating promotional, educational, and marketing videos.
• Incorporate transitions, effects, animations, subtitles, background scores, and sound effects.
• Ensure the video output meets high standards of quality, maintains appropriate pacing, tells a clear story, and is visually appealing.
• Work closely with content creators, marketing, and creative teams to grasp project goals.
• Adjust videos according to platform requirements, various formats, and aspect ratios.
• Oversee multiple editing assignments while adhering to deadlines.
• Continuously update knowledge on the newest trends and methods in video editing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in video editing roles.
• Proficient in color correction, sound editing, transitions, and motion graphics.
• Familiarity with social media video standards and trending styles.
• Creative mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Possession of a portfolio or examples of prior video editing projects is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The monthly salary ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 and is commensurate with skill level and experience. The role offers opportunities to engage in varied creative assignments as well as professional development and skill enhancement prospects.
