About the Role
Mmasha Academy is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join their team in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting both short-form social media videos and longer form content, ensuring engaging and polished visual storytelling that matches current digital trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short vertical videos such as Instagram Reels and other social media clips.
- Produce professionally polished long-form videos for platforms like YouTube.
- Integrate appropriate cuts, transitions, textual elements, graphics, sound effects, and background music to enhance video appeal.
- Design dynamic and fast-paced edits tailored to content needs.
- Uphold consistent editing quality and style across all projects.
- Manage revision cycles effectively and meet delivery deadlines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in video editing is preferred.
- Strong grasp of short-form video editing techniques for social media reels and shorts.
- Capability to execute professional editing of long-form video content.
- Excellent sense of pacing, story development, and maintaining audience engagement.
- Must reside in or be able to work onsite in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.
- Must be able to work daily from the office; remote work is not allowed.
- Owning a high-performance editing laptop is preferred; otherwise, office desktops will be provided.
- Submission of a portfolio or samples of past video editing work is mandatory for evaluation.
Software Proficiency
- Comfortable with at least one major editing software, including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Adobe After Effects.
Job Details
- Work location: Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu
- Employment type: Full-time, in-office position
- Working days: Monday through Saturday; Sunday off
- Monthly salary: ₹18,000 (negotiable for candidates with strong experience and portfolio)
