Role Overview

We are hiring a full-time Video Editor to work on-site in Mumbai. This position involves close cooperation with directors, producers, and creative teams to transform raw footage into polished final products for films, commercials, and digital media. Daily activities include media organization, sequence assembly, audio synchronization, and enhancement of both pacing and narrative coherence. The job also requires color grading, incorporation of motion graphics and titles, and preparing optimized deliverables for diverse platforms. Participation in feedback sessions and adherence to deadlines while maintaining quality are essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2-3 years demonstrated expertise in video editing for narrative and commercial media.
• Proficiency in video production and editing techniques suitable for storytelling and commercial projects.
• Own fully operational editing system capable of being set up in the studio environment.
• Skills in video color grading to ensure consistent and appealing visuals.
• Ability to create motion graphics including titles, lower thirds, and basic visual effects.
• Familiarity with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or equivalents.
• Strong grasp of pacing, sound synchronization, storytelling, and visual composition principles.
• Capability to collaborate effectively, accept feedback positively, and juggle multiple deadlines and projects.
• Experience in film, digital content, or advertising is crucial; a portfolio or showreel is required.
• Formal education in film, media, or related disciplines is advantageous but not compulsory.
