About the Role

We are seeking a talented and meticulous Video Editor to become part of our creative team in Kolkata. This role involves transforming raw video footage into engaging visual stories suited for digital platforms, marketing initiatives, and social media campaigns. The perfect candidate must possess a sharp sense for pacing, color grading, sound integration, and the ability to work efficiently under stringent deadlines.

Key Duties

• Review and select high-quality clips from raw video footage, crafting both rough and final edited versions.
• Enhance audio and visuals by performing color correction, grading, and basic sound mixing, including the addition of background music and sound effects.
• Incorporate motion graphics elements such as titles, transitions, subtitles, and basic animations or visual effects.
• Collaborate closely with content creators, marketing teams, and directors to ensure alignment with project objectives and brand standards.
• Prepare and export finished videos optimized for platforms including YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Maintain and organize digital media libraries and project assets effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency with leading video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and exporting requirements.
• Strong storytelling ability with excellent skills in visual pacing and timing alongside creative thinking.
• Submission of a showreel or portfolio showcasing previous editing and motion graphics projects is mandatory.
• Professional background with 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing.
