About the Role

We seek a creative and motivated Video Editor to join our team full-time based in Bengaluru. This position is tailored for freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience who possess a keen eye for visual storytelling, motion graphics, and social media video production. The role involves collaborating closely with content, marketing, and design departments to produce captivating videos across various online channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both short- and long-form videos to create engaging content.
• Develop Instagram Reels, promotional clips, product videos, explanation videos, and other digital assets.
• Work with diverse raw materials including footage, screen captures, images, music, and voiceovers.
• Incorporate transitions, animations, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance videos.
• Interpret creative briefs and transform concepts into compelling visual narratives.
• Perform foundational color correction, grading, and audio enhancement.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines regarding typography, color palettes, and visual styles.
• Maintain organized management of video files, project assets, and final deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively across teams to achieve project goals.
• Keep abreast of current video editing trends, social media formats, and innovative editing techniques.

Required Skills and Software Proficiency

• Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite tools including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and other related applications.
• Strong grasp of video editing principles including pacing, transitions, and narrative structure.
• Basic to intermediate skills in motion graphics and animation.
• Good understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and visual design principles.
• Knowledge of various video formats and aspect ratios suitable for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Ability to incorporate feedback effectively and revise content promptly.
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• A creative approach combined with eagerness to learn and try new methods.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with color grading and sound design techniques.
• Experience in crafting social media-specific content.
• Knowledge of AI-driven video and creative software tools.
• Basic understanding of 3D modeling, animation, or visual effects.
• Aware of contemporary social media video trends and editing styles.

Eligibility & Educational Background

This opportunity is open to recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience. Preference is given to individuals with backgrounds in Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Design, Film, Media, or related fields. Self-taught video editors with compelling skills and a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
