About the Role

Our client GEM Creatives is looking to hire a Video Editor based in Lahore. This full-time, on-site position requires 1-2 years of professional experience in video editing. The role involves crafting compelling visual stories and producing high-quality video content across multiple platforms as part of a dynamic creative team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging video materials suitable for diverse platforms.
• Partner with directors, producers, and colleagues to fully grasp project expectations and goals.
• Maintain and manage video files and archives effectively.
• Guarantee narrative and branding uniformity throughout all projects.
• Incorporate and act upon feedback from project stakeholders to enhance final products.
• Keep current with advancements in video editing software, cutting-edge techniques, and industry movements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated 1-2 years experience as a video editor within a professional environment.
• Experienced user of video editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing proficient video editing capabilities.
• Strong grasp of timing, pacing, and the dynamics of scenes.
• Creative aptitude for storytelling through video.
• Capable of collaborating with teams and meeting strict deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory if paired with substantial experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and adept organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure managing several projects at once.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing techniques is beneficial.
• Knowledge of color grading and audio editing provides added value.
