Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Video Editor position located in Piravom involves overseeing the complete video post-production process. Responsibilities include assembling raw footage, refining edits, applying transitions, integrating audio elements, color grading, basic motion graphics creation, and incorporating still graphics. The editor will collaborate closely with designers, motion artists, and content creators to produce captivating video content that aligns with brand standards and campaign goals, while also managing an organized media library and staying abreast of current visual trends. Contributing creative ideas to continuously elevate the agency’s video output is also expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete video post-production from raw footage assembly to polished final product.
  • Perform color grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visuals.
  • Create and integrate motion graphics such as intros, outros, and overlays.
  • Incorporate static graphics including logos, illustrations, and layouts.
  • Collaborate with multiple creative team members on-site to develop engaging video materials.
  • Maintain an organized digital media library.
  • Keep updated on the latest trends in video and visual content.
  • Bring forward innovative ideas to improve video quality and storytelling.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable expertise in video editing and production tailored for digital and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in video color grading techniques.
  • Ability to create and integrate motion graphics to enhance video engagement.
  • Experience working with graphic elements like logos and illustrations.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-leading editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects is advantageous.
  • Strong eye for detail coupled with excellent storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary creative teams onsite.
  • A relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
