About the Role
ASBS MBA is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Specialist based in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. This full-time position demands a candidate skilled primarily in video editing and motion graphics creation, complemented by capabilities in AI-assisted video production and basic filming. The role focuses on producing high-impact short-form video content tailored to platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, aligning with the latest trends in fast-paced, vertical video marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit diverse video formats including social media reels, testimonials, ads, expert and campus videos, and motion graphic explainers.
- Create dynamic motion graphics such as animated text, logo and data animations, chart visualizations, and kinetic typography using industry-standard tools.
- Leverage AI video technologies to generate B-roll, image-to-video clips, concept visualizations, and variations for ads.
- Conduct basic video shoots for campus events, interviews, and other related footage ensuring quality framing, lighting, audio, and vertical orientation.
Required Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut for video editing; Final Cut Pro experience is a plus.
- Strong capabilities with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop for motion graphics, alongside Canva and Figma for design workflows.
- Experience in AI video platforms like Runway Gen-4, Luma AI Ray, Adobe Firefly Video, and other generative tools.
- Use of audio enhancement and captioning utilities such as Adobe Enhance Speech, Premiere and CapCut auto captions, and Descript.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT and Midjourney or Firefly for scripting, prompts, and image generation.
Specialization & Content Focus
- Produce videos addressing MBA admissions, finance, marketing, HR, healthcare management careers, placement proofs, student and recruiter testimonials, induction and counselling content, and faculty expert presentations.
- Develop content that transitions students through the engagement funnel: Awareness, Interest, Trust, Enquiry, Counselling, and Admission.
- Create polished, youthful, career-focused, fast-paced videos with an emphasis on trust and professionalism, avoiding generic or low-quality styles.
Additional Information
The candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in relevant video editing and motion graphics roles. Compensation will align with industry standards. The work setting is on-site at Navi Mumbai.
