Role Overview
We seek a Video Editor & Motion Designer skilled in transforming raw footage into polished video content. The role involves editing for narratives and advertisements, developing motion graphics and animations, and influencing the overall look and feel of videos. This position suits an individual passionate about hands-on creative work and ownership from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Edit both short and long-form videos for social media, advertisements, and branding films.
- Develop and animate motion graphics and transitions.
- Produce motion design elements and animations for products, logos, and brand visuals.
- Interpret briefs and storyboards to create final videos in collaboration with the design team.
- Manage multiple project deadlines effectively and deliver timely results.
- Ensure videos maintain brand consistency and meet quality benchmarks.
- Perform sound design and audio mixing as required.
- Stay updated on AI creative tools and integrate them into workflows to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Between 1 to 2 years of professional experience in video editing and motion design, preferably from an agency or production house environment.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation and design tasks.
- Strong sense of typography, composition, pacing, and color theory.
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating versatility and skill in editing and motion graphics.
- Ability to accept feedback constructively, work swiftly, and maintain close attention to detail.
- Experience using AI-assisted creative tools for image/video generation and workflow optimization.
Additional Skills (Desirable)
- Basic or working knowledge of 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya.
