Role Overview
This full-time role requires the Video Editor to be present on-site in Naihati. The editor will closely collaborate with the production team to transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with project goals and branding requirements. Tasks include organizing and trimming footage, adding transitions, titles, visual effects, performing audio adjustments, and preparing final video formats.
Responsibilities
- Editing raw video into coherent and compelling narratives that meet project and brand specifications.
- Incorporating transitions, titles, effects, and performing basic audio enhancements.
- Applying color grading techniques to ensure visual consistency and appeal.
- Integrating motion graphics and other visual elements as needed.
- Collaborating on video concept development and maintaining workflow efficiency.
- Ensuring timely delivery of projects meeting quality standards.
- Staying updated on the latest video editing tools and trends.
- Contributing creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
Requirements
- Expertise in video editing and production workflows.
- Strong skills in color grading to produce unified visual styles.
- Capability to create and seamlessly integrate motion graphics and graphic elements.
- Proficient with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Keen attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense to follow creative briefs and branding standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with on-site creative and production teams.
- Strong time management skills to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Preferred educational background in film, media, communication, or related disciplines, with a portfolio showcasing video editing work.
