Position Overview

The Audio-Visual (AV) Editor is a specialized production role devoted to crafting video content within predefined templates and guidelines. This position involves producing various video assets such as trailer cutdowns, H1 videos, multi-title items, and drop-ins. While you will work autonomously on specific tasks, assistance is provided for complex decisions and communications with stakeholders. Your work directly influences peers, producers, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders impacting production standards and team objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and edit video projects following established templates and creative directions
• Produce trailer cutdowns, H1 videos, multiple title assets, drop-ins, and other assigned video materials
• Ensure all video edits meet business objectives and project deadlines with high quality
• Collaborate effectively with producers, QA teams, and stakeholders to coordinate deliverables
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining consistent quality
• Apply video templates and style guides maintaining adherence to established standards
• Make informed creative decisions to optimize video outputs within set parameters
• Proactively seek to enhance skills in motion graphics, animation, and sound design
• Maintain high proficiency with Adobe Premiere and other video editing software
• Effectively handle deadlines and multiple concurrent tasks

Required Qualifications

• Experience using Photoshop and video editing software
• Possession of an online portfolio demonstrating your work
• Previous experience working within or alongside creative agencies
• Between 3 to 5+ years’ experience as a video editor in creative agency or similar settings
• Strong attention to detail and a mindset geared toward quality control
• English communication skills at least at a B2 proficiency level (both written and spoken)
• Minimum 3 years using Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Familiarity with data asset management, digital libraries, or collections; ability to research and source quality production assets

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Experience with various design tools such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Background in project management
• Skills in motion graphics and video editing beyond core editing
• Understanding of marketing and advertising concepts
• Experience with asset management and digital media workflows
