About Us
Base360.ai is developing an AI-driven operating system tailored for short-term rental companies. Emerging from the technology behind The Flex, our platform empowers property managers to launch, manage, and expand their ventures using AI automation.
Role Overview
We seek a skilled Video Editor to craft compelling videos that narrate our product journey, founder stories, and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage, product captures, and creative concepts into launch films, social media content, and advertisements that seize and retain audience attention.
- Lead the entire creative video process: develop concepts, identify the most engaging hooks, and finalize video edits.
- Produce product launches and brand films that highlight storytelling, demonstrations, and distinctive visual direction.
- Create founder-focused materials from interviews, direct-to-camera footage, and behind-the-scenes clips.
- Design short-form videos optimized for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, ensuring captivating hooks and intentional pacing.
- Generate paid advertising creatives with varied openings, messaging, and calls to action.
- Bring products to life using screen captures, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and clear visual explanations.
- Manage all post-production activities including selecting footage, editing, color grading, sound design, music integration, captioning, and final exports.
- Integrate AI-assisted creative tools to produce supplemental visuals, voiceovers, and assets, accelerating production without compromising quality.
- Ensure visual consistency across all formats and distribution channels.
- Utilize performance data such as retention, watch time, and conversions to refine and enhance video content.
Who We're Looking For
- A candidate with a robust portfolio showcasing storytelling abilities, editing skill, and strong visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in major video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, along with motion design expertise in After Effects or similar tools.
- An understanding of how to captivate viewers within the first three seconds and maintain their interest.
- Ability to condense lengthy footage into concise, engaging narratives.
- Awareness of how audio elements—music, silence, sound effects—and pacing influence emotional impact.
- Experience with AI creative applications such as Runway, Kling, Sora, and ElevenLabs as part of the editing workflow.
- Self-directed with solid time management skills, receptive to constructive feedback.
- Balance quick turnaround with attention to detail, producing polished and refined videos.
Experience in SaaS product videos, founder-centric content, documentary storytelling, or paid social media advertising is advantageous.
Why Join Base360.ai?
- Opportunity to define and grow the video brand identity of an emerging company.
- Work directly with the founder on product launches and narrative crafting.
- Creative autonomy with visibility across marketing channels.
- Potential for advancement into broader creative leadership and team-building roles.
- Competitive pay and incentives tied to performance.
- Remote work within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Our Expectations
We prioritize ownership, transparent communication, high-quality standards, and continuous development. Ideal candidates enjoy initiative-taking, creativity experimentation, and improving their craft.
Who Should Not Apply
- If you require detailed, step-by-step instructions rather than taking creative ownership.
- If you want a slow, predictable job with minimal change.
- If handling feedback, revisions, or trying new methods is challenging.
- If you focus solely on aesthetics over effective storytelling and results.
- If you resist adopting new tools or evolving your creative process.
- If you bring ego or office politics instead of collaboration and responsibility.
- If motivation to excel at your craft is lacking.
