Role Overview

The Video Editor Executive at Protrainy will work full-time on-site in Bhubaneswar. This role centers around planning, editing, and creating video content for online courses, promotional campaigns, and social media channels. Core duties involve organizing raw footage, selecting optimal clips, incorporating transitions, titles, motion graphics, and audio enhancements, while ensuring uniform color grading and high-quality visuals. Collaboration is essential, working closely with trainers, instructional designers, and marketing teams to transform educational material into engaging videos that align with brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and edit video content for e-learning and marketing purposes.
• Incorporate transitions, titles, motion graphics, and sound synchronization.
• Maintain consistent color grading to achieve professional visual quality.
• Work collaboratively with trainers, instructional designers, and marketing personnel.
• Manage video assets and optimize formats for multiple platforms.
• Ensure projects are completed within specified timelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in video production and editing focused on educational and promotional materials.
• Proficiency in color grading techniques to maintain visual consistency.
• Capability to design motion graphics and graphics such as intros and overlays.
• Experience with editing and design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalents.
• Understanding of audio editing, basic sound design, and syncing voice-overs effectively.
• Keen attention to detail, strong storytelling through visuals, and adherence to brand/style guidelines.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Possession of a diploma or degree in film, media, multimedia, design, or related discipline; substantial practical experience will also be considered.
• Familiarity with e-learning or educational content production is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while working on-site in Bhubaneswar.
