The incumbent will be responsible for assembling and refining educational video content including lectures, tutorials, and promotional videos. Key duties involve organizing raw footage, trimming and arranging clips, integrating graphics and motion elements, syncing audio tracks, and applying color correction to ensure consistent and quality visuals.

Key Responsibilities

The editor will work closely with instructors, content creators, and marketing teams to grasp project goals and ensure the final videos adhere to brand standards and educational objectives. The role also entails managing video assets, maintaining a structured media library, and delivering completed projects within scheduled timelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should have up to one year of experience in video editing, particularly with educational or e-learning content as a plus. Essential skills include video production, editing, color grading for visual consistency, motion graphics, and graphic design to enhance visuals through titles and animations. Proficiency with industry tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects for motion graphics is necessary.

Personal Attributes and Education

Strong attention to detail, capability to tell stories visually, and understanding of pacing and audience engagement are critical.
