About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor situated in Panaji, Goa, to join our team full-time at GrowthGravy. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in social media management, ideally within a digital marketing or creative agency environment. This position demands a professional who can transform raw footage into captivating video content that truly engages audiences, emphasizing storytelling, pacing, and polished visuals rather than simple clip assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw video content into refined, compelling videos that emphasize narrative flow and visual coherence.
- Comprehend and execute creative briefs, scripts, and production specifications to deliver precise final video outputs.
- Sort and assess raw footage to select the most impactful shots and construct coherent sequences.
- Manage all edit phases including rough cuts, final cuts, transitions, soundtracks, dialogues, graphics, and visual effects.
- Ensure consistent pacing, logical order, and uniformity throughout all edits.
- Collaborate with creative teams, production staff, and other stakeholders, incorporating feedback to enhance video content.
- Customize edited content to fit various social media platforms, formats, and specific content needs.
- Keep abreast of the latest editing methods, trends, software updates, and industry standards to boost work quality and efficiency.

Essential Skills and Qualities
- Deep understanding of video storytelling, shot pacing, and composition principles.
- Foundational knowledge in colour grading and colour correction techniques.
- Basic skills in audio mixing and sound design.
- Close attention to detail ensuring visual consistency in all edits.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Receptiveness to constructive feedback and able to convert creative guidance into strong final edits.
- A creative and innovative mindset, eager to experiment and introduce fresh ideas to editing projects.

This opportunity is a strictly in-office role based at the company’s location in Panaji, Goa. Remote or work-from-home arrangements are not available for this position.
