About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to become a vital member of our Marketing and Social Media team. The suitable candidate should have between 1 and 4 years of video editing experience, responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives from initial concept to polished final products. Creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and strong teamwork abilities are essential to succeed in this role.
Preferred Experience
- 1 to 4 years of substantive experience at a B2C startup, leading brand or creative agency, or a digital-first creative production environment.
- Strong grasp of storytelling principles and familiarity with various digital video formats.
- Proven expertise creating YouTube videos, YouTube and Meta advertisements, or other digital video ads.
- Experience in education-focused startups or ventures is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce engaging visual stories by editing and compiling footage that effectively represents the brand across multiple digital channels.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, plan, and create video content aligned with strategic objectives.
- Enhance videos by integrating graphics, text, soundtracks, and special effects to enrich storytelling quality.
- Keep updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques to maintain fresh and impactful content.
- Ensure all video assets comply with brand standards and are of premium quality.
- Effectively manage and organize the video assets library for smooth workflow.
- Engage actively in creative discussions, contributing new ideas and perspectives.
- Adhere to project deadlines while consistently delivering superior video content.
- Tailor and optimize video outputs for various social media platforms to maximize audience engagement.
