Job description
About Eucalyptus
At Eucalyptus, our mission is to make good health sustainable for life. With over one billion individuals affected by obesity worldwide, which contributes to preventable chronic diseases, we provide innovative long-term healthcare solutions. Now part of Hims & Hers, the global powerhouse in personalized health and wellness, Eucalyptus supports patients across five countries including Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, and Canada through the Juniper weight-management program. This program integrates GLP-1 medication with personalized nutrition, movement support, and expert care led by clinicians, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians, resulting in patients achieving four times greater weight loss compared to treatments without our approach.
Role Overview
We are seeking a quick and prolific video editor with a sharp understanding of content that drives conversions on paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. The role demands high output and a strong commitment to quality. You will work closely with a seasoned in-house creative team, including producers, creative directors, copywriters, motion designers, and performance marketers. You'll utilize a fully equipped studio for shoots and spend most of your time editing and occasionally shooting sessions yourself. This position requires hands-on camera work and creative vision behind the camera.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of post-production including editing, sound design, color grading, captions, motion effects, and exports across a variety of paid social, organic, and brand campaigns and adhere to best practices for each platform at high speed.
- Shoot footage during team studio days, manage smaller solo shoots as required, and assist with capturing behind-the-scenes content that engages audiences.
- Create content specifically tailored to platform nuances, understanding that what works on TV commercials differs from formats optimized for Reels or TikTok.
- Collaborate with Performance and Social teams to analyze data and refine edits based on conversion metrics and audience engagement.
- Maintain transparent communication about project status, anticipate and report potential blockers early, and facilitate efficient workflow among team members.
- Contribute creative insights and ideas during the briefing process to enhance video performance and impact.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years experience editing in fast-paced environments, either in-house, agency, or freelance, supported by a showreel demonstrating diverse output and a focus on performance-driven visuals.
- Flexible with editing tools, able to use whatever software or platform is most effective without rigid tool preferences.
- A strong understanding of digital advertising: hooks, pacing, audience retention, and how to craft edits that function as compelling ad units as well as creative pieces.
- Desire to learn and grow alongside some of the leading performance marketers with a capacity to accept constructive feedback and improve continuously.
- Native familiarity with social media platforms and an ability to maintain high craftsmanship while adapting quickly to social media trends.
- Solid fundamentals in filming including composition, lighting, audio capture, and a steady approach on smaller, intimate sets.
- Efficient, organized, and a clear communicator who proactively manages deliverables and ensures timely project completion without supervision.
- Empathetic and sensitive to the target audience, particularly in creating a comfortable atmosphere on set for women’s health-related content.
- Commercially driven mindset that values data-driven feedback as well as creative input to maximize content effectiveness.
- Resourceful and resilient, thriving amid a high volume of tasks and adaptable to imperfect conditions.
- Passionate about supporting women's health through meaningful, mission-aligned content.
