Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Video Editor based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to work on-site. The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into refined and engaging videos suitable for both digital and traditional media outlets. Daily duties include selecting and arranging clips, editing sequences, applying various transitions and effects, synchronizing audio tracks, and performing fundamental color corrections.
This position also involves working closely with directors, producers, and designers to interpret creative briefs, enhance visual storytelling, and maintain alignment with brand and project standards. Additional responsibilities may include supporting motion graphics integration, assisting in pre-production stages, and managing project files and asset repositories systematically.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in all stages of video production and editing with end-to-end post-production workflow experience.
- Advanced skills in color grading to enhance the visual tone and ensure consistency across productions.
- Experience in designing and incorporating motion graphics and other graphic elements to support narrative and branding.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing and post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools.
- Strong grasp of visual framing, editing pacing, sound design fundamentals, and storytelling techniques appropriate for social media, advertisements, and long-form content.
- Excellent attention to detail, time-management abilities, and capacity to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic studio setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative collaboration.
- Educational background or professional training in film, media, animation, or related disciplines is advantageous. A portfolio showcasing completed video projects is preferred.
