About Skunkworks Experiential Media
Skunkworks Experiential Media is a design studio specializing in live events. We collaborate with brands and agencies to craft visual content, motion systems, and show concepts, ensuring every event's on-screen story is clear, cohesive, and consistent with the brand identity.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Video Editor to join our creative team to transform raw event footage into polished visuals ready for live shows and brand activations. This role involves close teamwork with designers, producers, and creative leads to deliver compelling experiential campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and edit raw video footage into final polished content suitable for live events
- Apply color grading for visual consistency and to enhance the mood across all projects
- Incorporate motion graphics and supporting graphic elements that align with the story
- Prepare multiple versions and formats of videos optimized for various screens and display setups
- Collaborate in developing storyboards and show concepts with the creative team
- Maintain organized project files and manage media asset archives
- Participate in creative review sessions and adapt work based on constructive feedback
Candidate Requirements
- Proven video editing capabilities; prior experience in event-related content is advantageous but not essential
- Proficiency with video editing and visual effects tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- An excellent sense of pacing, timing, and audio integration
- Highly organized and detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Some background in integrating motion graphics and other graphic elements
- Submission of a showreel or portfolio demonstrating editing skills is mandatory
