Role Overview
As a Video Editor, your work will go beyond mere clip assembly. You will create impactful thirty-second videos that resonate deeply, influencing state-wide conversations. You'll transform raw footage and briefs into compelling content optimized for diverse platforms, including social media feeds, phones, and TV broadcasts, especially during critical moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit daily video content using both original and repurposed raw footage.
- Trim footage, add background scores, captions, and graphics to polish the final output.
- Contribute to storyline development and scripting by identifying key moments within raw footage.
- Oversee and maintain assets like A-roll/B-roll clips, music tracks, and meme libraries.
- Monitor current trends closely to produce video cuts designed to circulate widely.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional video editing experience supported by a strong portfolio/reel.
- Proficient use of Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Fluency in Telugu language is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with motion graphics, 3D effects, and compositing techniques.
- An understanding of local political environments and cultural contexts.
- A reel showcasing viral videos or widely circulated work.
