Taasha The Shutters LLP is a boutique creative studio based in Bengaluru specializing in luxury wedding filmmaking. The studio operates at the crossroads of high-end production and timeless storytelling, focusing on crafting cinematic yet genuine films. Their approach goes beyond event documentation by preserving legacies through detailed, emotionally rich narratives. Each project is a custom cinematic journey where every frame and edit mirrors the couple's unique story.

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Bengaluru requires a Video Editor who will manage raw wedding footage, selecting essential moments to build fluid, narrative-driven timelines that suit the studio's cinematic vision. Responsibilities include editing video sequences, advancing color grading, blending sound and music, and partnering closely with the creative team to optimize the storytelling. The editor works intimately with cinematographers and directors to ensure consistency in mood, rhythm, and style across all projects. Participation in feedback loops and implementing revisions promptly to deliver high-quality final products on schedule is expected.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in video production and editing, competent in managing multi-camera, high-resolution video files.
  • Proficient in video color grading to establish uniform, cinematic aesthetics across diverse lighting and settings.
  • Experience with motion graphics and visual enhancements such as titles and overlays to support storytelling.
  • Strong command of professional editing and post-production software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
  • Excellent narrative structuring, pacing abilities, and sensitivity to emotional storytelling tailored to weddings or events.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined visual sensibility, and a capacity for maintaining excellence under deadline pressures.
  • Effective communication and cooperation skills, with a positive approach to feedback and iterative creative refinement.
  • A relevant educational background in film, media, visual communications, or similar fields is advantageous, alongside a compelling portfolio showcasing prior work.
