Role Overview

This full-time position is based on-site in the Greater Patna Area. The Video Editor will be responsible for the complete video production cycle aimed at educational content. Key duties involve compiling raw footage, selecting appropriate clips, and producing coherent video stories. Daily tasks include editing videos in line with specifications, incorporating transitions and special effects, performing fundamental color correction and grading, and adding motion graphics or graphic elements. The role demands close cooperation with content creators and instructional designers, ensuring videos are optimized for multiple platforms, maintaining well-organized project files, and meeting scheduled production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video production and editing techniques.
• Experience with video color grading to ensure visual consistency and appropriate tone.
• Skills in motion graphics and graphic design to augment educational videos.
• Familiarity with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, along with motion graphics tools like After Effects, is advantageous.
• Strong storytelling capabilities within a visual medium, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to branding and educational standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with various teams and manage multiple projects effectively under deadlines.
• Educational background or training in film, media, design, or related disciplines; prior exposure to educational or digital content production is beneficial.
