About the Role

DataEngage.ai is seeking a creative and meticulous Video Editor to join our Creative & Content department. This full-time onsite role involves transforming raw footage into captivating stories and visually engaging video content for various digital campaigns and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both short and long-form videos tailored for digital audiences and marketing efforts.
• Enhance raw video content by adding music, sound effects, motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and visual effects.
• Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to realize concepts and storyboards.
• Ensure all video output adheres to brand standards, creative guidelines, and project goals.
• Organize and manage footage, project assets, and editing workflows efficiently.
• Incorporate feedback from creative teams to refine video edits.
• Explore and apply new editing styles, visual trends, and storytelling techniques.
• Maintain uniformity in pacing, coloring, audio balance, and overall video quality.
• Deliver finalized, polished projects within the established deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven strong grasp of video editing principles, visual storytelling, and composition techniques.
• Proficient with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
• An excellent sense of timing, pacing, musical integration, typography, and visual design aesthetics.
• Innovative thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and convert ideas into engaging audiovisual content.
• Good organizational skills coupled with effective time management.
• Receptive to constructive criticism and comfortable collaborating with creative teams.
• Passionate about video production, digital content, storytelling, and keeping up with emerging visual trends.
