Job description
Role Overview
The Wishing Chair is seeking a full-time, on-site Video Editor based at their Shahpurjat, Haus Khas office in New Delhi. This role involves creating, editing, and finalizing various video materials to support marketing efforts, social media campaigns, product storytelling, and brand narratives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble raw video footage, refine by trimming and sequencing clips.
- Incorporate transitions, effects, and perform color grading to enhance videos.
- Integrate graphics and motion elements that maintain alignment with the brand’s visual identity.
- Optimize video content for multiple platforms and manage media assets efficiently.
- Stay updated on video trends relevant to lifestyle, home décor, and gifting sectors.
Schedule
This is a full-time role requiring 5 working days per week.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven competence in video production and editing targeted for marketing and social media channels.
- Expertise in color grading and motion graphic design to strengthen visual storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with graphic and visual assets to produce consistent, on-brand video outputs.
- Practical knowledge of leading editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, plus proficiency in mobile video editing.
