Role Overview
The Video Editor will be a full-time, on-site team member based in New Delhi, responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos tailored for social media and digital marketing efforts. Key tasks include crafting narrative flow, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio tracks, performing basic color correction, and collaborating with design and strategy teams to maintain brand consistency. The role demands adapting videos for different social platforms, keeping project files organized, and adhering to production schedules. The position may also involve assisting with video shoots, contributing creatively to conceptual development, and staying current with video editing trends and platform best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in editing and producing both short and long-form digital video content.
- Strong capability in video color grading to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Proficiency in motion graphics for developing animated elements, titles, and visual effects.
- Basic graphic design skills for preparing visual assets.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and motion graphics tools like After Effects.
- Excellent storytelling skills with close attention to detail and familiarity with social media formats and trends, including Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Ability to work from the New Delhi office, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment.
- A background in film, media, design, or related education is advantageous; experience in social media content creation is preferred.
