Job description
About the Role
We are a content agency seeking a Video Editor to create polished video content across various formats including short clips, long-form videos, and advertisements tailored for multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage into finished videos such as shorts, longer videos, and advertising creatives.
- Incorporate background music, sound effects, subtitles, captions, along with basic motion graphics and transitions.
- Align voiceover recordings accurately with visuals and supplementary B-roll footage.
- Maintain a consistent editing style or template unique to each project.
- Submit completed videos punctually as per the content production timeline.
- Implement swift revisions in response to received feedback.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in video editing software including Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools.
- Understanding of pacing and editing techniques that improve viewer engagement and retention.
- Ability to add text overlays, captions, and select appropriate background music.
- Must have a personal laptop or PC with sufficient capabilities to run editing software smoothly.
- Openness to learning AI-driven editing technologies if not previously experienced.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)
- Experience editing short-form content such as reels or advertisements.
- Basic skills in designing thumbnails for videos.
- Familiarity with AI applications like voice cloning and AI video creation tools.
Additional Information
Fresh graduates with an impressive portfolio or demo reel are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Monthly salary range is INR 15,000 to 18,000.
Location
This position is based in Patna, Bihar, India, and requires onsite presence.
