Role Overview

The company is seeking a full-time Video Editor based in Nagpur. The primary responsibility is to transform raw footage into compelling, well-structured videos suitable for films, commercials, social media channels, and other formats. This involves ensuring narrative continuity and a consistent stylistic presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage video and media assets effectively.
• Edit video sequences to produce a smooth flow and engaging visual storytelling.
• Perform color correction and grading to maintain consistent visual tone and enhance footage.
• Incorporate graphics and motion elements such as titles, overlays, and simple animations to support the narrative.
• Export final videos in line with specified technical and format requirements.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and production teams to align with project objectives and integrate feedback.
• Uphold high technical standards while continuously adapting to industry advancements.
• Contribute creatively to improve storytelling approaches and visual quality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven expertise in video editing and production, including assembling footage and managing project timelines.
• Proficiency in color grading techniques to correct and stylize footage.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and graphic insertion (e.g., titles, lower thirds, overlays).
• Experience using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic understanding of audio editing and sound mixing for videos.
• Strong visual storytelling capabilities and keen attention to detail.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work effectively in an on-site office environment.
• Relevant academic background or equivalent practical experience in film, media, communications, or related disciplines.
• A portfolio or showreel showcasing a variety of video editing projects across different styles and media.
