About the Role

Artmonks Film Production House in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled Video Editor who understands that editing is an art of storytelling, not just arrangement of clips. The ideal candidate is able to craft compelling narratives from raw footage by managing pace, sound, and visuals effectively to engage viewers throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit advertisements, brand films, digital content, and social media reels with a focus on maintaining narrative flow.
• Produce quick yet captivating edits that preserve the story's essence.
• Collaborate with music, sound design, and pacing to enhance emotional impact.
• Condense hours of recording into tight, engaging narratives.
• Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to deliver final products aligned with vision.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet urgent deadlines efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong storytelling instincts and mastery over pacing and timing in edits.
• Ability to discern what makes edits feel compelling beyond just their visual appeal.
• Experience handling multiple projects concurrently with meticulous attention to detail.
• Basic skills in color correction and motion graphics are advantageous.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Bangalore. We seek an in-house editor who not only commands video editing tools but deeply understands narrative construction and viewer engagement.
