About the Role

We are seeking skilled Video Editors with strong capabilities in video editing, animation, VFX, post-production, audio editing, and storytelling to join our advanced AI research and evaluation initiatives. This remote contract position focuses on refining AI-generated media content to advance the performance of next-generation AI systems. Prior experience with AI is not essential; the primary requirement is robust expertise in digital media production.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and enhance video content, visual effects, and animations used for AI training and validation.
• Analyze AI-generated media for quality, correctness, narrative effectiveness, and alignment with project goals.
• Maintain and organize project files, media assets, and production workflows to facilitate dataset creation and team collaboration.
• Design evaluation metrics, quality standards, and benchmark datasets for video, animation, and instructional content.
• Utilize skills in visual storytelling, motion graphics, and editing to improve outputs created by AI systems.
• Provide comprehensive written and verbal feedback to guide iterative AI model refinement.
• Identify content gaps and opportunities to enhance visual and narrative consistency.
• Work remotely with cross-disciplinary teams to uphold production quality and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in video editing, post-production, and producing digital media.
• Proficiency with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
• Experience creating or editing animations, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Strong understanding of pacing, composition, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.
• Skills in audio editing, media management, and post-production workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline paired with significant professional experience in video or visual media production.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Capability to thrive in a remote, collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience producing educational or instructional videos.
• Background working with robotics media, AI training datasets, or content evaluation.
• Knowledge of media quality standards, content review protocols, and evaluation methodologies.
• Experience developing rubrics, benchmarks, or quality assurance practices for digital content.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted video editing software and emerging media technologies.
• Awareness of trends in video production, animation, VFX, and digital storytelling.
• Proven ability to collaborate with distributed teams and incorporate stakeholder feedback effectively.

Compensation & Engagement

The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $30 to $80, with payments disbursed weekly under an independent contractor agreement.
