Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in Patna requires a Video Editor responsible for assembling and editing raw footage to produce compelling video content tailored for various platforms. The editor will ensure a unified visual narrative aligned with brand standards, performing tasks such as trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, color correction and grading, and incorporating motion graphics as necessary.
Collaboration with creative directors, copywriters, and designers is integral for interpreting briefs, refining concepts, and delivering polished video materials within set deadlines. The role demands organized file management, workflow efficiency, and staying updated on industry trends and editing technologies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong capabilities in video editing and production.
- Proficient in video color grading and fundamental color correction methods.
- Skilled in motion graphics creation or adaptation.
- Experienced with prominent editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within creative teams and interpret storyboards or briefs.
- Competent in multitasking, meeting deadlines, and maintaining detail orientation.
- Having a portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing and motion graphics work is highly desirable.
- Educational background such as a diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or related fields is preferred, though relevant practical experience is also acceptable.
