Role Overview

This full-time on-site position for a Video Editor is located in Doha, Qatar at INSIAG institut national des arts et d'industrie graphique. The incumbent will be tasked with piecing together raw video footage, selecting prime shots, and crafting engaging visual narratives for a broad range of academic, cultural, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video sequences, synchronize audio tracks, and implement transitions and effects.
• Ensure final video outputs comply with both technical and creative quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with directors, instructors, designers, and other creative team members to grasp project goals and tailor content across different platforms and formats.
• Manage project timelines effectively to deliver work on schedule.
• Maintain well-organized media libraries to streamline production workflows.
• Align all deliverables with INSIAG’s visual identity guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in video production and editing, including managing raw footage and producing polished final versions that convey effective narratives.
• Proficiency in video color grading to maintain visual consistency and set appropriate tones and moods.
• Experience with motion graphics and graphic design to create titles, lower-thirds, visual elements, and basic animations that enrich video content.
• Familiarity with leading editing and post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Comprehensive knowledge of audio editing, file formats, codecs, frame rates, and export configurations tailored for online and broadcast distribution.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within an onsite multidisciplinary team environment.
• Possession of a relevant diploma or degree in film, media production, visual communication, or related fields; equivalent professional expertise is also considered.
• Previous experience working on educational, cultural, or institutional video endeavors particularly in the MENA region or similar cultural contexts is advantageous.
