About the Role
Social Three Sixty Consulting Private Limited is expanding its in-house content team dedicated to social, digital, branded, and narrative media. The company seeks a Video Content Editor proficient in crafting compelling stories, pacing, engaging hooks, and maintaining visual rhythm to enhance viewer retention. The role primarily demands creative judgment and portfolio strength over a specific career background, welcoming candidates from social media, YouTube, documentary, branded content, motion graphics, or mixed-media domains.
Responsibilities
- Edit digital content ranging from short to long formats.
- Transform raw footage into coherent and captivating narratives.
- Develop stronger hooks, editing cuts, and content structures.
- Handle diverse content styles including social-first, narrative, documentary, and mixed media.
- Utilize B-roll, music, graphics, and sound effects effectively.
- Ensure consistency in recurring content series.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like writers, strategists, designers, and producers.
- Innovate by employing generative creative tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling, and Sora where beneficial.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of storytelling elements, pacing, and visual rhythm.
- Familiarity with short-form and social media content formats.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Open to feedback and committed to delivering finalized edits.
- Interest in emerging creative tools and formats.
- Portfolio demonstrating solid video editing capabilities.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics.
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic skills in colour grading and sound design.
- Exposure to branded or commercial content creation.
- Experience using generative AI creative platforms.
Additional Information
