Role Overview

This role involves two main components: annotating diverse video data types including first-person, robotic manipulation, and internet videos to client standards; and overseeing data processing with rigorous quality checks and organizational review of footage before annotation. The position demands a keen eye for detail, perseverance, and consistent application of high annotation standards. Training on all tools and guidelines will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately label video clips using techniques such as bounding boxes, object tracking, segmentation masks, keypoints and pose estimation, hand-object interaction tags, temporal action segmentation, and descriptions.
• Utilize client platforms adhering to specified project guidelines to maintain consistent labeling across extended footage.
• Achieve targets for volume and precision on a daily and weekly basis, reporting any uncertainties or issues to supervisors instead of guessing.
• Engage in calibration exercises and implement feedback from reviewers.
• Evaluate incoming video clips per quality standards including framing, focus, exposure, occlusion, audio quality, and duration.
• Implement a two-stage verification process to document defects, immediately highlight critical issues such as privacy breaches or consent problems, and ensure accurate file handling.
• Maintain detailed quality control logs, spreadsheets, and reporting for each batch while collaborating with field and logistics teams to address initial capture problems.
• Comply fully with company policies regarding data security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in any field.
• At least 1 year and up to 3 years experience in video/image annotation, data labeling, quality control, or related roles; applicants with no experience will not be considered.
• High visual attention to detail and endurance for prolonged focused sessions.
• Proficiency in basic to intermediate computer skills including keyboard shortcuts and use of multiple software applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets as well as file and folder management.
• Strong capability to interpret written guidelines consistently, excellent communication for clear reporting, and ability to meet deadlines and daily goals.
• Process-driven approach with adherence to standard operating procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with annotation platforms like CVAT or Label Studio.
• Background using video editing or media review tools.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning data workflows.

Work Schedule and Conditions

• Five working days per week with a nine-hour day including a 30-minute break.
• Fully office-based in Nagpur with potential shifts or rotations to suit client review times, communicated beforehand.

Compensation and Career Development

• Monthly salary between ₹23,000 and ₹30,000 depending on experience.
