Job Overview
Join Weymouth Vets for Pets as a Veterinary Surgeon at a beautiful south coast location just 5 minutes from the beach. This role emphasizes a healthy work-life balance with a competitive salary of up to £80,000 plus a £5,000 welcome bonus. You will be part of a continually growing practice, equipped with advanced facilities and technology including a dental suite, imaging room, consult rooms, kennels, and a dedicated staff relaxation area.
Facilities and Equipment
Our upgraded equipment includes a Vetus 50 ultrasound machine with colour Doppler and ECG capabilities, a K-Laser device, and soon laparoscopic equipment to support minimally invasive procedures. We welcome applicants experienced in laparoscopy or those eager to develop skills in this area with our full support and continuing professional development (CPD).

As an RCVS accredited Nurse Training Practice, we are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and excellent support to our clients and colleagues. We foster an open and collaborative environment with regular meetings to encourage team input and continuous improvement. Our veterinary team combines over 40 years of experience including an Advanced Practitioner in Medicine, supported by an experienced nursing and reception staff and a long-serving practice manager.
