Role Purpose

The Vehicle Technician role involves delivering high-quality servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance of customer vehicles, ensuring maximal client satisfaction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive servicing, repair, and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Adhere to safety standards aligned with HSE and internal health and safety guidelines, working efficiently and safely
• Contribute actively to fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment
• Regularly inspect and maintain Vospers' equipment and machinery to high standards
• Continuously develop technical skills encompassing repairs, servicing, and maintenance
• Accurately interpret repair instructions to achieve first-time fixes meeting customer expectations
• Systematically plan and execute servicing and mechanical tasks efficiently to meet schedules
• Handle customer vehicles with utmost care while on premises for service
• Engage directly with customers when necessary to discuss vehicle issues, improving diagnostics and first-time repair success
• Perform vehicle health checks for all retail and warranty jobs and promote additional work opportunities when relevant

Location & Work Hours

Based in Marsh Mills, Plymouth.
An average workweek consists of 42.5 hours including rotational Saturdays.

Compensation

Salary will be determined according to the candidate’s experience and qualifications and discussed during the interview.
