Powered by strategic partnerships including Uber and backed by prominent investors such as Mubadala, BlackRock, and MUFG, Moove operates in 19 cities across six continents and continues to grow through partnerships with industry leaders like Waymo and Uber. The company is committed to making mobility safer, more efficient, and accessible, while fostering economic opportunity and skill development within the mobility sector.

Role Overview

As a Vehicle Readiness Operator, you will ensure that each vehicle in the fleet is physically prepared and compliant before deployment. Your inspections and approvals set the foundation for the operational excellence of the autonomous vehicle fleet. Working in a rotating shift system within a 24/7 operational environment, you will manage activities from vehicle launches and repositioning to charging and compliance reporting. Adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reporting any irregularities are key responsibilities.

Key Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of all vehicles arriving at the depot and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Verify that vehicles meet all launch-ready criteria prior to each shift by completing necessary checks and approvals.
  • Assist with autonomous vehicle troubleshooting during launches, including software updates and readiness assessments.
  • Use operational systems to monitor vehicle status, track tasks, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Organize vehicle movements, charger setups, and manage charging cycles as operational needs dictate.
  • Address emergent operational requirements promptly, maintaining a focus on safety and fleet availability.
  • Maintain comprehensive data on vehicle lifecycles within fleet management systems.
  • Ensure vehicles and depot areas comply with cleanliness and presentation standards consistent with Moove AV and UAE regulations under all shifts and environmental conditions.
  • Accurately complete daily reports, checklists, and required documentation on time to meet safety and operational mandates.
  • Promote strict adherence to safety protocols and promptly report any non-compliance issues.
  • Work a rotating shift pattern covering mornings, evenings, and overnights, typically six days on followed by one day off.
  • Support shift efficiency and operational throughput by consistently applying SOPs and assisting fellow team members.
  • Remain adaptable to scheduling changes while maintaining performance standards under varying conditions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess a valid UAE driving license held for at least one year.
  • Comfortable using modern applications, digital platforms, and communication tools.
  • Capable of maintaining composure and reacting swiftly in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and reliability.
  • Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in diverse indoor and outdoor work settings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Have completed a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with Autonomous Vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.

Performance Indicators

  • Vehicles authorized for deployment consistently meet launch-ready standards without exception.
  • Documentation is always precise, complete, and submitted punctually.
  • Zero tolerance for safety or compliance violations during your oversight.
  • Operational smoothness and depot efficiency are ensured during your shifts by maintaining fundamental processes.
  • Recognized as a dependable team member by colleagues and management, irrespective of timing, conditions, or pressure level.

Team and Reporting

You will report directly to the Fleet Operations Manager and collaborate closely with the Fleet Operations Team. The workplace culture is collaborative, dynamic, positive, inquisitive, and mission-driven, emphasizing smart work, adaptability, and humor.
