Vehicle Inspector

Position Overview

We are hiring a seasoned Field Operations Coordinator to perform thorough vehicle inspections and collaborate closely with dealerships in the Stockton, CA area. This role is suited for individuals with extensive automotive expertise who prefer autonomous, field-oriented work while engaging with customers directly.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicle engines, transmissions, interiors, and exteriors.
• Prepare and submit digital inspection reports using a mobile application.
• Travel locally to various dealerships to assess vehicles before sale.
• Coordinate inspection schedules and vehicle preparation timelines with dealer partners.
• Maintain communication with internal Operations and Sales teams.
• Foster and uphold strong relationships with dealership contacts.
• Distribute marketing materials to assist in sales initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years practical automotive experience, including mechanic or technician roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of engines, transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally between dealerships.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology and digital tools for inspection reporting.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $24 to $28.
• Commission potential up to $500 per month.
