About the Role

HireGiant Ltd is partnering with a reputable national company based in Yeovil, England, seeking a Van Driver for ongoing multi-drop delivery assignments mainly involving newspapers. The company operates multiple sites across the UK and requires a dependable individual to join their team full-time starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-drop deliveries using a 3.5-ton van, primarily distributing newspapers to various stores.
• Unload cargo independently at each delivery location and collect recycled newspapers for return.
• Ensure the assigned courier van is maintained in excellent condition, treating it with care equivalent to how you would like to find it.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Hold a Category B driving licence for over one year.
• Proven experience operating a 3.5-ton van in a delivery capacity.
• Use of safety equipment, specifically safety boots and a high-visibility vest.

Working Hours and Conditions

• Shift hours run from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
• The role requires weekend work with days off scheduled midweek, following a rotating pattern.
• Immediate start is available for the right candidate seeking regular, full-time work.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges between £12.71 and £13.00 per hour as a starting rate.
