The role involves safely and systematically loading products onto the delivery van and ensuring their timely delivery to customers and specified locations. Responsibilities include verifying the quantity and condition of goods upon delivery, collecting payments through cash or digital methods when necessary, and securing confirmation signatures from recipients.
Accurate maintenance of delivery documents such as invoices and receipts is essential. The candidate will handle the careful loading and unloading of goods and adhere strictly to designated delivery routes and schedules. Professional communication with customers and addressing minor delivery issues form part of the daily duties.
Reporting any damaged, missing, or returned items to the supervisor promptly is required. Regular upkeep of the delivery vehicle, including cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs, is expected. Compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies is mandatory. Additional delivery tasks may be assigned as needed.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges between 18000 and 22000 INR per month.
